Artie Dubrie
Artie Dubrie is the Policy and Enforcement Officer for the Montreal Protocol Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) for the United Nations Environment Programme, Regional Office for the Latin America and the Caribbean (UNEP/ROLAC). In this capacity, her responsibility is to ensure that countries of her region meet and sustain full compliance with the Montreal Protocol for the phase out of ozone depleting substances (ODS).

Dubries career path combines 15 years working experience at technical and managerial levels in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the UNEP team she was her countrys national ozone officer. She was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Scientific Association (TTSA) and served as president, secretary and treasurer. Through the TTSA, she was involved in fostering the development of education and awareness of science and technology with particular attention towards encouraging the participation and involvement of the wider civil society in a small island developing state.

Dubries academic qualifications include BSc in Chemistry (University of the West Indies) and Masters of Science Degree in Natural Resources Management (Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urea, Dominican Republic). She is at present an external student with the University of London pursuing a Masters of Laws in International Environment Law.
