Lambert Kuijpers
Since the 1990s, Lambert Kuijpers has been particularly involved in the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel and the Refrigeration Technical Options Committee under the Montreal Protocol, which he both co-chairs.

He also was a member of the Montreal Protocol Science Assessment 2006, and Lead Author for the Third (2001) and Fourth (2007) IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Assessment Report (Working Group III on technology and mitigation of emissions).

He was a member of the Steering Committee for the IPCC/TEAP Special Report 2005, which dealt with emissions of industrial high GWP gases and the interaction of ozone layer depletion and climate change. He has been co-chairing all Task Forces that determined the necessary replenishment of funds for the Montreal Protocol Multilateral Fund, lastly in 2008.
In 2009, he co-chaired the Task Force on Decision XX/7 on the sound management of banks. He is currently involved in the 2010 Assessment Process for the Technology and the Science Assessment Panel and the Technical Refrigeration Options Committee under the Montreal Protocol. This year (2010) he also co-chaired the Task Force on Decision XXI/9 on alternatives for HCFCs, and the possibilities for low and high GWP gases.

Since 1997, Lambert Kuijpers also has a (small) part time assignment at the department ECfS at the University Eindhoven, Netherlands (Eindhoven Center for Sustainability, Technology for Sustainable Development).
