Kristin Mclaughlin
Kristin Mclaughlin is with the Division of Global Environment Facility Coordination and serves as UNEPs Liaison Officer to the Global Environment Facility (GEF), based in Washington DC. Kristin has been working in the domain of the GEF for over 10 years, focusing primarily on operational issues and managing a portfolio of biodiversity projects. Prior to joining UNEP in 1990, Kristin worked with the World Bank and the World Conservation Union (IUCN) in Switzerland as an environmental specialist and projects officer. Her background is in conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. She holds a MSc. and a BSc in Environmental Sciences from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, USA, respectively.
