20th June 2023, Kampala –  A new $2.9 million initiative has been launched in Uganda to address the growing impacts of climate change by developing a National Adaptation Plan (NAP). Backed by the Green Climate Fund with support from UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the project will be executed by Uganda's National Climate Change Department in the Ministry of Water and Environment.
