The 26th session of the Governing Council / Global Ministerial Environment Forum (GC/GMEF) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) will be held from 21 to 24 February 2011 at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya.
 
LET'S MAKE IT GREEN
 

The 26th session of UNEP's Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum (GC/GMEF) will be conducted as a "Green Meeting". The meeting aims at reduced emissions, minimum waste and minimum impact on natural resources and bio-diversity. Delivering "green meetings" is a commitment UNEP made in its Climate Neutral Strategy that ensures that the organization undertakes all its work in more sustainable ways.
