Christopher is a Task Manager for the Caribbean portfolio of GEF-funded Biodiversity and Land Degradation projects within UNEP's Ecosystems Division.
Earlier in his career, Christopher worked with the Saint Lucia Forestry Department and the Ministry of Agriculture, having responsibility for agricultural, forestry and environmental project development and execution, and policy formulation. He worked for several years at the regional level in the Caribbean specializing in integrated water resources management, land and watershed management, and pollution control.
Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources Management from the University of New Brunswick and Master’s and doctoral degrees from McGill University, where his research focus was on integrated watershed management and formulation of decision approaches for sustainable land management for Saint Lucia. He has authored several peer-reviewed and other articles on the subject of his research.
