In 2012, Jamaica was selected as one of three pilot countries, the others being Saint Lucia and Haiti, under the European Commission supported regional project entitled “Advancing Caribbean States’ Sustainable Dvelopment agenda through Green Economy”. The national project will be implemented over an 18-month period and includes a Scoping Study/Assessment (Phase I) and implementation activities (Phase II).
