IETC is delighted to announce the launch of the Guidelines for National Waste Management Strategies: Moving from Challenges to Opportunities - a joint effort of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) – on Monday 7 October at the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) World Congress in Vienna, from 16:00 to 18:00 h (Session 5).
The launch of the guidelines will be accompanied by a panel discussion on how to make the guidelines more useful and the relevance of national strategies as a tool to meet the challenges and reap the opportunities presented by waste management.
