A Youth Advisory Council to UNEP were elected at the Tunza Youth Conference held in Dubna, Russia in August 2003. Six delegates, one per region, were chosen from this Advisory Council to represent youth at the Global Civil Society Forum (GCSF) to ensure that the youth voice is heard and to develop a significant global youth statement. These representatives are:
