Conference “What jobs in a low carbon European economy?”

The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) is delighted to invite you to the conference “What jobs in a low carbon European economy?” that will take place at the ITUH auditorium in Brussels, Belgium on 20 and 21 February 2007.
 
The conference aims at discussing the results of a forthcoming study co-sponsored by the European Commission and six European environmental ministries to assess the potential impact on European employment of climate change and EU climate change mitigation policy by 2030.
 
Among the confirmed speakers are Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas, Employment Commissioner Vladimir Spidla, UK environment minister David Miliband and Spanish Environment Minister Christina Narbona.
