Update on Project Results
Nigeria produced a chemicals and waste management co-ordination bill, along with reports on mainstreaming aspects in national development process, the baseline status of cost recovery measures in a selected sector, the outcomes of a pilot study to test the feasibility of the recommended options for national cost recovery measures, a national implementation plan for cost recovery of chemicals and waste management in Nigeria as well as a training and awareness raising strategy on chemicals and waste management. The terminal evaluation of their project in 2022 provided a very positive report.
