Online Video Competion for Youth - "PROTECTING OUR ATMOSPHERE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME"
The UNEP Ozone Secretariat and the OzonAction team are pleased to announce the winners of the Online Video Competition for the Youth- “PROTECTING OUR ATMOSPHERE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME”!
We would like to thank all 72 participants of this competition. We would also like to thank the members of our jury panel (in alphabetical order):

The selection was based on the production value (technical, artistic, editing skills) and concept (message/idea).
And the winners are…
The First Place goes to: ‘For our future generations’ by Zhou Zhanyu, China. Zhou will receive an all-expenses paid roundtrip to Geneva.
The Second Place was a tie between ‘25 Years of Change - 25th Anniversary Montreal Protocol’ by Iwani Mawocha, Swaziland, and ‘25th Anniversary Montreal Protocol - Hope for the Future’ by Elio Alonso Vasquez Miranda, Peru. They will both receive US$ 500 each.
The Third Place goes to ‘Umbrella of the earth’ by Chu Yidan, China who will receive US$ 300.
The next six, the runners up will receive a UNEP certificate:
• ‘Montreal Protocol 25th Anniversary - Zip the Ozone layer!’ by Lim Da Yae, Republic of Korea
• ‘The 25th Anniversary’ by Wacław Marat, Poland
• ‘The Guardian of the Earth’ by Yujie Wang, China
• ‘Umbrella’ by Yangyuexin, China
• ‘25th Montreal Protocol Anniversary - Breathless Twenty Five’ by Salmeen Rafique, Bangladesh
• ‘25th Anniversary’ by Youngsim Oh, Republic of Korea
These videos will also be shown on the UNEP Ozone Secretariat and OzonAction websites for a year.
All participants will be awarded with a UNEP Ozone Secretariat’s certificate of participation.

NOTE: Some contestants had problems uploading their videos on Youtube due to access or technical issues, and hence were uploaded after the deadline. However, the jury verified that ALL 72 official entries were received by UNEP OzonAction Programme by 15 October 2012.
