The Regional Ozone Network for Europe & Central Asia (ECA network) created the bi-lingual (Russian - English) ECAcool website in 2009 as a communication and information exchange platform between national refrigeration & air-conditioning associations to help overcoming barriers to introducing ozone- and climate-friendly technologies as part of national HCFC phase-out management plans. ECAcool is managed on a rotational basis. It was established by the National Ozone Unit of Kyrgyzstan and is currently managed by the National Ozone Unit of Armenia. It contains the contact details of national refrigeration & air-conditioning (RAC) associations in ECA network countries.
