The Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles welcomes new members from government, international organizations, industry, and civil society dedicated to promoting cleaner fuels and vehicles worldwide. PCFV Partners support the mission statement of the Partnership and abide by its Governance Rules .

Joining the PCFV means:

  • Joining a global initiative of diverse organizations cooperating to more efficiently and successfully address cleaner fuel and vehicle issues in developing countries for improved air quality;
  • Networking with governments, industry, international organizations, and civil society representatives addressing cleaner fuels and vehicles;
  • Notification of PCFV and related Partner events and activities, including the annual Global Partnership Meetings;
  • Participation in Working Groups addressing cleaner fuel and vehicle issues.

There are now over 85 partners in the PCFV (see the Partners section ), whose Clearing House is hosted by UNEP in Nairobi, Kenya. Partners are often involved in matters pertaining to clean fuels and vehicles; they update us on their events and activities which we publicize on the PCFV website. Partners also participate in and support the PCFV's Clearing House activities in their region. Some partners provide financial resources, regional network connections, and in-kind support for Partnership activities. In turn, the PCFV supports partners' activities by publicizing, providing funding where appropriate, organizing expert input, and sometimes participating in these events.
