Biography

Cyrille manages the Chemicals and Waste portfolio at the UNEP Europe Office.

Cyrille brings more than 23 years of experience and expertise in the field of environmental health, occupational health, ecotoxicology, chemical safety, community health, sustainable development and poison control and programme coordination to the role.

“As an environmental toxicologist, I believe that managing today helps us build tomorrow, and thus bequeath a better environment to future generations,” says Cyrille.

In the past years, Cyrille has worked with several international organizations as well as the private sector and has been involved in the implementation of multilateral environmental agreements, including chemicals-related conventions. Before his temporary reassignment to the Europe Office, Cyrille was the Coordinator/Head of Kenya Country Programme.
