IUCN provides technical oversight of the Pollution Monitoring Networks’ activities.

Kenyan Universities namely; University of Nairobi, and Kenyatta University assist in monitoring / assessments activities.

The implementation partners assist in the survey and analysis of physio-chemical and biological characteristics of the Nairobi River. The results and data from activities carried out are compiled and analysed and the final output information is used to implement reccomendations.
