Nairobi River Basin Programme (NRBP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together the Government of Kenya, UNEP, UN-Habitat, UNDP, the private sector and civil society. HIGHLIGHTS...

The Kenyan Government is committed to the vision and mission of the Nairobi River Basin Programme. In addition to pledging ksh. 100 million towards this cause, It has given the highest priority to the programme and put in place an institutional framework for closer collaboration. Being a cross-sectoral issue, the Government has established a steering committee of permanent secretaries from 10 ministries.
