Area(s) of Expertise:  Ms Tunnie Srisakulchairak joined the UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific in May 2009. She has been assisted the delivery of PoW, and implementation of UNEP activities on environmental assessments and capacity building at the regional, subregional, national and subnational levels since 2000 while she worked at Regional Resource Centre at Asia and the Pacific. Her areas of responsibility include promoting technical capacity on environmental assessment, strengthening science and policy networking, and supporting decision-making process and policy advocacy to the governments and institutes in the region. Her work contributes to promote and enhance UNEP presence at national level. She also provides technical support to deliver UNEP six priority areas as requested, especially in Ecosystems management, climate change assessment and Resource Efficiency. She works with national governments to priority their needs and promotes partnership with donors. She successfully coordinated UNEP project under EACP. Her educational background includes Environmental Studies from New Zealand and Integrated Coastal Zone Management, and Asian Institute of Technology respectively.
