Indian Ocean - South-East Asian Marine Turtle Memorandum of Understanding

The IOSEA Marine Turtle MOU is an intergovernmental agreement that aims to protect, conserve, replenish and recover marine turtles and their habitats of the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asian region, working in partnership with other relevant actors and organizations.

It is a specialized intergovernmental agreement concluded under the auspices of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS), which is administered by UNEP. The IOSEA Marine Turtle MoU Secretariat is co-located with the UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.
