Welcome to this website on Sustainable Land Management (SLM)!
It was created within the framework of a project funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by UNEP in close consultation with partner agencies such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank (WB), the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), the Global Mechanism (GM), the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Conservation Union (IUCN) and GTZ. The Government of Norway provided co-financing to the project.
The purpose of the website is to provide you with relevant and updated information on land degradation and GEF's endavour in tackling it.
You will also have the opportunity to interact with the Agencies involved and other users through a knowledge center where your questions and concerns will be addressed accordingly.
