TNT Turkey Fleet Reduces CO2 Emissions, Cuts Costs while Expanding Fleet
Using the tools and strategies provided in the UNEP/TNT Clean Fleet tool, TNT Turkey designed a cleaner fleet strategy in November 2006 to meet a goal of cutting emissions by 6% by 2011. 15 months later, they have already surpassed their target with overall fleet emissions reduced by 9% and fuel cost savings of Euro 100K even as the fleet grew by 15% during the same time. TNT Turkey continues to reduce emissions through cleaner fuels and vehicles, hybrid technology, and eco driving training for operators. » More
