India gazettes fuel road map for 50ppm
The Department of Road Transport and Highways, in the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways - India, published draft rules termed, Central Motor vehicles (Amendment) 2008 on emission standards amongst other regulations. Also gazetted were technical specifications for Reference Fuels which move India to Euro IV (50ppm) for 11 major cities and Euro III (350ppm) for the rest of the country by 1st April 2010.
