On October 23 2009, the Ministry of Environmental Protection (China) and the Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) will host a joint international workshop on vehicle emission control in Beijing. Sessions will include presentations and discussions on: Vehicle emission control, highlighting progress in China, USA and other countries; China’s energy and environmental protection policies on motor vehicles and the development of the Chinese motor vehicle industry; Clean fuels and vehicles and their impacts on air quality and energy needs; Vehicle emission control and management. The Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles has been invited to express their views and give a global outlook and progress in this critical issue.
