3rd Governmental meeting on Urban Air Quality in Asia, Singapore, 8 November 2010

The Governmental Meeting was attended by officials from environment ministries of close to 20 Asian countries. The focus was on developments in, and recommendations on, urban air quality management at the regional and country level. PCFV made a presentation summarising its work in Asia with regards to emission reductions and introduced the Global Fuel Economy Initiative, explaining its relevance to the Long Term Vision for Urban Air Quality for Asia and to the Bangkok Declaration. Clean fuels and fuel efficient vehicles were included as part of the recommendations of the meeting.
