In order to develop sense of unity with nature and to promote concern and respect for the environment, students and staff of Aizar High School did a one day activity in the school. In connection with international environmental day they planted trees inside and outside the school.

Students did tableaus to show that how important are the trees to make our environment clean and fresh.

Haleema Khalid, the head girls of school highlighted the importance of environmental protecting and said that our earth is deeply wounded. We live today in a dull, dirty earth filled with dark swirling clouds of dioxides of carbon and sulphur. There are giant punctures in the protective ozone shields over Antarctica and North America. Today the great threat to humanity comes from destruction of earth’s environment. We need to read the signs of the time we must act.

Talking on the occasion Principal Eugien John added , We must protect the Earth and respect and safeguard the many forms of life it is a home to. Yhe Earth does not simply belong to us.Million and million of our children have an inalienable right to it too.We must keep our earth safe for them too. The whole day activity ended with assurance that every body will do his or her best to protect the mother earth.

Best regards
Eugien Hohn.
