Selection Process

Winners will be selected through a fair and impartial selection process by the Selection Committee appointed by the organizers. The competition will have two selection processes:

Regional Selection Process
Selection will be done by the relevant UNEP Regional Office and its partners. Each region will submit at least 100 paintings to the global competition.

Global Selection Process
Selection will be done by a panel of judges from the Foundation for Global Peace and Environment, UNEP, Bayer AG and Nikon Corporation.

Announcement
(1) Regional winners will be announced on 22 April 2008
(2) Global winners will be announced on 5 June 2008
