Advisor -Yvonne Maingey (Kenya) 
Age: 17
Study: Student at Hillcrest Preparatory School, Nairobi
Activities:
Started an environment club in my old primary school, participating in all sorts of activities from clean-ups, to environment walks and even environment workshops. Also got very involved in the Global movement for children and was selected to be the African children's representative to speak to world leaders on children's issues during the Special Session for children in New York.
Motto:

As a young person I have a say in what happens to me and the world I live in and I think it’s very important that all young people take a stand on issues affecting them.

 

Associate Advisor – Humphrey Polepole (Tanzania) 
Age: 22
Study: Currently on a year off from a degree in architecture
Activities:
Secretariat Director for the Tanzania Youth Coalition (TYC) and the CEO for the Windows for Africa’s Development-Tanzania
Motto:

Development is the result of collective determinations while realizing a positive focus and success in development is a result of handwork and self determination.

Asia & the Pacific
Advisor – Alan Wu (Australia) 
Age: 20
Study: BA/LLB Degree at University of Melbourne
Activities:
Served as Youth Representative on the Australian Delegation to the 2002 United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development, and currently coordinates Wellspring, an Australian environmental advocacy group for young people. Also an active in a number of Australian youth affairs organizations, including the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition, the Foundation for Young Australians, the 2004 National Youth Week Planning Group, and the 2004 National Youth Roundtable.
Motto:

We have not inherited the world from our forefathers -- we have borrowed it from our children.

Age: 18
Study: Student of Chengdu Yan Dao Jie High School
Activities:
TV host of Sichuan Provincial TV Station for the Youth Program, Organizing a National Youth Council on Environment in China, Community Environmental Education on mothers and kids, Volunteer for Protecting the Mother River, Research on the City Ecological Construction, Week of Weather Observation, Week of Caring For Birds, Organizing Investigations of Worn-out Batteries and used paper, Planting trees on the ring road of the city, raising money for the antelope in Tibet.

Associate Advisor – Lucia Wellington (Australia) 
Activities:
I volunteer in various environmental campaigns and attend lectures focused on sustainability to build my knowledge for future projects. I am constantly trying to minimize my ecological footprint, and that of my friends and family.
Motto:

Make a difference through a more sustainable approach to design and architecture.

Advisor -Tomislav Tomasevic (Croatia) 
Age: 22
Study: 3rd Year Student at Faculty of Law in Zagreb
Activities:
Member of Green Action/ Friends of the Earth Croatia (the biggest environmental NGO in South Eastern Europe) as a volunteer, passing from an activist to International Affairs Coordinator and member of the Board of Directors in the organization.
Motto:

Youth participation in decision-making

 

Advisor - Nicole Meyer (Switzerland) 
Age: 22
Study: Environmental Science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology
Activities:
Board member of the World Student Community for Sustainable, Development, seed-sustainability and the Swiss youth parliament, organizes projects in education and capacity building for younger students awareness raising.
Motto:

"Lots of little people in lots of little places who do lots of little things are going to change the world!"

 

Associate Advisor – Lars Appelquist (Denmark) 
Age: 22
Study: Geography at the University of Copenhagen
Activities:
International secretary for the Danish organization Nature and Youth, representative of Nature and Youth in the Danish Youth Council’s UN-group.
Motto:

Advisor-Camila Godinho (Brazil) 
Age: 23
Study: Masters in Public Management (previously: Bachelor Degree in International Business)
Activities:
Member of the Latin American Youth Community, representing Brazil on environmental programmes (www.claj.org), director of international relations of Interagir (www.interagir.org.br), research teacher at the Observatory of International Relations on Sustainable Development at the Faculdades Jorje Amando, coordinator of teh GEO for Youth Brazil Project, member of Pegada Jovem - State Youth Council on the Environment.
Motto:

We have the chance to choose which future we want to give to our children and grandchildren. Let's not waste this opportunity.

Director of Peace Child Argentina, a worldwide youth organization, which seeks to “empower young people” so they can “be the change the want to see in the world.

Activities:
Member of Bahrain Women’s Society, an environmental citizenship project.

What environment has given and still gives us, is the reason why we all should do the best we can to protect it. To let it keep giving more and more, because we need it green and smiling.
