TUNZA MONTH - May 5 - June 5, 2010

Tunza month began on 5 May, 2010 and it was a month for children and youth to come together and act on issues affecting Biodiversity.

Role of youth Hi Otieno, TUNZA aims at developing activities for the young people in the areas of capacity building, environmental awareness, information exchange and youth in environmental decision making processes, with a vision to foster a generation of environmentally conscious citizens, capable of positive action. The role of the youth therefore is do activities and actions aimed at protecting the environment. Tunza catalyses these activities. Climate Change and Youths hi there! i have been working on local initiative to build youths response to CC in Nigeria... I requested for some Tunza magazine which i was promised would be delivered but yet till now, i am yet to receive them. I have been leading a team of young graduates in National Youth Service Scheme in Nigeria through a Climate Change Awareness Club we formed and i serve as its Initiator and Coordinator, pls i do link up with other youth groups working on similar projects and also get IEC materials on environment Be assured of best of my regards Ajiroba Oladipupo Danie; Submitted By: Ajiroba Oladipupo
