Ms. Lebohang Nts'inyi is the Honourable Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture of Lesotho.
She is known for her concerns in terms of environmental management and wetlands as sources of eco-tourism. She has been very actively involved in the Maloti-Drakensberg Transfrontier at all stages of the Conservation and Development Project. She also advocates for a sound chemicals management.Prior to her nomination as the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture, she was Ambassador of the Government of Lesotho to Germany from 1994 to 2001.
Ms. Nts’inyi obtained a certificate in Tourism Management in 1972 and a Diploma in Professional Education in Tourism in 1978. Later, in 1989, she did Certificate in Tourism Policy and Development.
Between the years 1979 and 1991 she was working as Marketing Manager for the Lesotho Tourism Board. In 1991 she became Marketing Manager of Lesotho Bank until 1994.
Honourable Christine has been given World Tourism Organisation Award for outstanding contribution to tourism development in Lesotho and regional co-operation in other countries. She has one daughter.
