Climate Change, Education, Law 

Summary of Achievements:

Senior Lecturer in Environmental Law, University of Auckland. She is the first legal academic to publish in the field of Climate Change in NZ. Her award winning book "An Ecological Approach to international Law - the Case of the Greenhouse Effect" (Routledge 1998) is a classic text around the world.

Prue has published many articles on climate change, delivered climate change papers at many top conferences (since Rio 1992), teaches NZ's first and only university course "Climate Change" and is among the world's pioneers on ethics and climate change.

She is a member of IUCN CEL and IUCN CEL Ethics Specialist Group with special responsibility for climate change ethics and implementation of the Earth Charter.
