Green Energy Mobility aims to tackle the worst air quality in South Asia in Nepal, and make public transportation a quality alternative to private vehicles - especially for women safa-tempos (small busses) drivers. The vision is to help women own and upgrade their electric vehicles through low-interest financing from commercial banks.

Sonika is a computer engineer turned impact entrepreneur who co-founded Aloi, a fintech trailblazer fostering financial inclusion for informal microentrepreneurs in green sectors, such as electric transport and agriculture. Sonika's work has garnered recognition from renowned institutions, including the UNCDF UNESCAP, Welthungerhilfe, and Standard Chartered Ventures. She was recognized as an Emerging Explorer by the National Geographic Society.
