This UN World Oceans Day, the tides are changing. Join us on 8 June as we celebrate the 2023 theme, Planet Ocean, to reshape how we view the earth and generate a new wave of excitement towards protecting the ocean and the entirety of our blue planet.
The #UNWorldOceansDay2023 program will feature decision makers, international civil servants, indigenous communities, scientists, private sector executives, celebrities and youth activists, to finally put the ocean first.

CEP was established in 1981 as part of the Regional Seas Programme in recognition of the importance and value of the Wider Caribbean Region’s fragile and vulnerable coastal and marine ecosystems including endemic plants and animals.
