A TALANOA session on how effective the role of women, youth and communities are, in the implementation of the regional multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs) addressing Waste.

The expert panel will contribute to the TALANOA as follows:

  • Identify a relevant and specific MEA to the Hub (e.g., Pacific Hub – Noumea and Waigani Conventions).
  • Provide a case study on how women, youth and communities from respective regional hubs contribute to the implementation of the specific MEA identified.
  • The challenges encountered by women, youth and communities.
  • The outcomes of the involvement or contribution to national and regional policy framework.
  • How these contributions or outcomes integrate to regional collaboration.
