#PlasticFreeJuly Social Media Campaign

As co-hosts of the Global Partnership on Marine Litter-Caribbean Node, the Cartagena Convention Secretariat and the Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute will launch a social media campaign from July 1-31, 2019 to raise awareness on plastic pollution and encourage the use of alternative products and practices.

We invite you to join us in this campaign by using the hashtag #PlasticFreeJuly in your comments and posts, and tagging us on the following social media sites:

Facebook: @UNEnvironmentCEP, @gcfi.fisheries , @gpmlcaribe
Twitter:
@UNEnvironm_CEP, @gcfi_fisheries

A new suggestion will be posted each day on how we can reduce the use of plastic in our daily lives and adapt to alternatives, so feel free to share your own experiences and what you have done or been doing to reduce/eliminate plastic in your homes/families.
