The PROMAR Phase II Annual Meeting and Technical Visit will be held in Paramaribo, Suriname, in mid-November 2025. 
The objectives are to review project progress and indicators, align the 2026 work plan, exchange good practices and experiences among PROMAR countries, and conduct a site visit to observe marine litter and plastic pollution issues in Paramaribo.

CEP was established in 1981 as part of the Regional Seas Programme in recognition of the importance and value of the Wider Caribbean Region’s fragile and vulnerable coastal and marine ecosystems including endemic plants and animals.
