Third Meeting of the Working Group on Marine and Coastal Ecosystems (WGMCE-3)

The Third Meeting of the Working Group on Marine and Coastal Ecosystems (WGMCE-3) will review progress of the biennial workplan 2025-26 for the implementation of the Marine and Coastal Ecosystems Framework as endorsed by COBSEA’s Twenty-sixth Intergovernmental Meeting (IGM 26) last October. In addition, the meeting will review and discuss integration of the UNEP/GEF South China Seas Strategic Action Programme (SCS-SAP) Project to COBSEA for the sustainability of regional initiatives, as well as discuss preliminary priorities for the next MCE biennial workplan 2027-28.
