The Regional Consultative Meeting for Major Groups of Latin America and the Caribbean (RCM) will be an opportunity for representatives of civil society from Latin America and the Caribbean to provide input to the XXIII Meeting of the Forum and the Sixth Session of the Assembly of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEA 6), as well as to increase collaboration with UNEP.

The meeting will be held in hybrid format, allowing for in-person or remote participation. If you are interested in attending, contact: unep-rolac-forumofministers@un.org

The RCM will be organized in parallel to the XXIII Meeting of the Forum, which will take place in Panama City from October 24 to 26, 2023. It will also be held in parallel with the Latin American and Caribbean Climate Week (LACCW), organized by the UNFCCC secretariat, from October 23 to 27 at the Hotel Marriot Panama, Albrook, Panama City, Panama.

Please note that only representatives of registered observer organizations may attend the Meeting of the Forum on 24 and 26 October as observers, and UNEP may limit the number of observers present at any one time due to space limitations. The meeting on 25 October will be closed.
