Online City Academy Launch at the UrbanShift Asia Forum

On September 25, during the UrbanShift Asia Forum, the online City Academy course will officially launch to the public. The UrbanShift City Academy is a learning tool offered to urban planners and city officials worldwide as part of the UrbanShift Global Platform. The online City Academy consists of eight self-contained courses dedicated to key integrated planning themes, which also constitute UrbanShift’s central areas of work. The development of each course is led by subject matter experts from one of UrbanShift’s partner organizations:  

  • Integrated Urban Planning (WRI)  
  • Urban Biodiversity (WRI)  
  • Nature-Based Solutions (WRI)  
  • Circular Economy (ICLEI)  
  • Climate Finance (ICLEI)  
  • Green and Thriving Neighborhoods (UNEP)  
  • Integrated Climate Action Planning (C40)  
  • Accommodating Urban Growth (C40)  

The courses will be available for free, self-paced study on UrbanShift’s learning management system (LMS), powered by Edly, in six languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian Bahasa and Mandarin).
