The Biocontrol Meets Finance workshop will bring together bankers and industry experts to inspire entrepreneurs on how to get funding for their innovative biocontrol projects. Co-hosted with the GEF-funded, UNEP-led FARM Programme, the workshop aims at connecting financial actors and biocontrol industry experts.
In focus will be understanding the financial landscape and banking sector expectations relevant to the industry, and facilitation of dialogue between financial institutions and biocontrol stakeholders.
A panel discussion with key experts will be followed by an interactive Q&A session to encourage open exchange and collaboration.

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) includes several multilateral funds working together to address the planet's most pressing challenges in an integrated way. Over the past three decades, the GEF has provided more than $26 billion in financing, primarily as grants, and mobilized another $148 billion for country-driven priority projects.
