Mary is a Programme Management Assistant with the Global Funds Mitigation and Transparency Section, UNEP supporting HR and administrative functions. With over 12 years of experience, she excels in streamlining processes, accelerating recruitment timelines, and driving data-informed decision-making through innovative tools and systems.
Since joining UNEP in June 2022, she has contributed to enhancing workflow efficiency and team cohesion, while promoting consistent and transparent HR practices. Previously, she served as Head of HR at Thika Sports Club.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Management (HR Management) and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Strategic Management at Kenyatta University, Nairobi. She is passionate about people management, operational excellence, and delivering impactful organizational support aligned with UN values.
