Pacific Youth Turning the Tide on Plastics and Marine Litter

Puipaa, Samoa08 November 2022: The International Coastal Clean-up Day is the largest single ocean clean-up activity globally. Manned by volunteers from many walks of life, this year marked the 36th such annual event in Samoa and the first on-ground event of the Plastic Tide Turners Challenge (TTC) in the Pacific region.  

With over 500,000 youths participating in the programme globally, the Plastic Tide turners Challenge is perhaps the largest youth-centered plastic pollution movement in the world.
