Camilla supports UNEP's African portfolio of Global Funds Mitigation and Transparency projects, with a focus on the West African region. Previously, she supported the Latin America and the Europe and Central Asia portfolios. She works on resource mobilization, design, implementation and evaluation of projects in areas such as electric mobility, climate transparency, sustainable urban development, low-carbon cooling and methane emissions in the food waste sector.
Camilla has over seven years of experience in environmental programme and project development and implementation. Prior to joining UNEP in 2019 in her current position, she worked at the UNEP Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, providing support to the Disasters and Conflict Sub-programme management in the region.
Camilla is Italian and holds an M.Sc. in Global Energy and Climate Policy from SOAS, University of London, and an M.Sc. in Chemical Process Engineering.
