Evance Ochoo is a Finance and Budget Assistant at the GEF Coordination Office. He brings over nine years of expertise in accounting, finance and budget management, grants administration, compliance monitoring, and project cycle management. Previously, Evance worked with UNEP's Law Division as a Finance and Budget Assistant. He also worked with various INGOs and international development agencies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Moi University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Edinburgh Napier University.
The Global Environment Facility (GEF) includes several multilateral funds working together to address the planet's most pressing challenges in an integrated way. Over the past three decades, the GEF has provided more than $26 billion in financing, primarily as grants, and mobilized another $148 billion for country-driven priority projects.
