Rose supports the management of the GEF Chemicals and Waste Portfolio budget.
Before joining UNEP, Rose worked as a Finance Officer for the Kenya Revenue Authority. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner. Rose is a national of Kenya and holds a Master of Science in Finance from Kenyatta University.

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) includes several multilateral funds working together to address the planet's most pressing challenges in an integrated way. Over the past three decades, the GEF has provided more than $26 billion in financing, primarily as grants, and mobilized another $148 billion for country-driven priority projects.
