Isabelle has extensive experience with the negotiation, formulation, and implementation of technical assistance projects primarily GEF funded, and has worked with multiple partners.
Caroline Okana has worked with UNEP for over 16 years with the GEF International Waters Unit within the Ecosystems Division whose mandate is to support transboundary cooperation in shared marine and freshwater ecosystems. Under programme management, she provides support in project development activities, project implementation activities as well as administrative support to UNEP's GEF

Over the past three decades, the GEF has provided more than $26 billion in financing, primarily as grants, and mobilized another $148 billion for country-driven priority projects.
