Join us for a youth-focused workshop exploring how AI and Zero Waste thinking can work together to shape a more circular future.

Organized by UNEP International Environmental Technology Centre, Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific, and the Children and Youth Major Group to the UN Environment Programme

With global waste projected to reach 3.8 billion tonnes by 2050, the question is urgent: how can AI help us redesign systems of production, consumption, and waste?

What to expect:
▶️ Insights into Zero Waste across material lifecycles
▶️ Exploration of responsible AI applications in waste management
▶️ Youth-led discussions and co-creation of solutions
▶️ Development of a Youth Discussion Paper on Zero Waste × AI

The workshop brings together students, young innovators, and experts to exchange ideas and build actionable recommendations for policymakers and global partners.

⚠️ Note: Priority is given to participants under 30. Registration is open to all, but confirmation for those over 30 depends on available seats.
