Thematic Network Meeting back-to-back with the Grenada Sustainable Cooling Exhibition

UNEP through its Caribbean Network, is planning to hold the 2025 Thematic Network Meeting of National Ozone Officers of the Caribbean Network and Haiti back-to-back with Grenada’s Sustainable Cooling Exhibition from 16 - 18 June 2025, taking place in St. George’s Grenada.  The meeting will directly contribute to Outcome 1 of the 2025 CAP Workplan, specifically Activity 1 - Organize Regional Network and sub-regional meetings for NOUs using in-person, hybrid, or online methods in all ten regions to address priority issues, exchange information, and share experiences. 

The Thematic Meeting will be attended by Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) Technicians from the Region. Their participation along with respective National Ozone Officers (NOOs) in Grenada’s Sustainable Cooling Exhibition will contribute to Outcomes 6 specifically activities 9 - encourage interested NOUs to strengthen their national/regional RAC associations, encourage them to interact regularly with their associations, and exchange best practices so that the associations have increased engagement in their countries' national Montreal Protocol activities.  Additionally, it will contribute to activities 4 and 6 under Outcome 7: assist all NOUs to better understand energy efficiency issues related to RAC equipment through sharing existing information materials and/or developing new materials; and provide all interested NOUs with information and assistance to enhance or establish policies or regulations aimed at maintaining and enhancing energy efficiency of existing and new RAC equipment.
