The aim of the workshop is to exchange information and agree on the necessary measures required to strengthen the enforcement of the licensing system on ODS trade between the seven selected countries and to prevent unauthorized movement of ODS. The Pilot NOU and Customs Twinning Workshop and back to back parallel Border Dialogues will set up a cooperation mechanism between the countries.
This meeting is organised by UN Environment OzonAction Africa Office. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.
