This workshop is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme in cooperation with the Pacific Island Countries' Network. The workshop aims to discuss the way forward for the adoption and enforcement of Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) as well as other regulations related to the safe use of flammable refrigerants at the national level and explore how to engage stakeholders in this process.
This meeting is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) in cooperation with the Pacific Island Countries' Network. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's CAP provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.

The meeting acts as a collaborative forum for 12 PICs to deliberate the coordination approach, and timeline on the implementation of the Regional HPMP Stage II which was recently approved by the 86th ExCom, with UNEP as the lead implementing agency and Australia as the cooperating agency.
