The objective of this meeting is to discuss and share information among SEA network countries on the status of adoption of the AHTN2022. The meeting will also discuss whether specific HS codes for HFCs and blends have been assigned under the AHTN2022 at the national level and, if not yet, to exchange ideas on which kind of mechanism can be adopted to enable the country to track import statistics of HFCs and blends by substances.
The joint network meeting aims to: (i) recap policy developments from the Meeting of the Parties and the ExCom Meeting at the global level; (ii) understand the topics to be negotiated in relevant meetings in May/June/July 2022; (iii) provide a brief overview of the 2022 CAP workplan and services and Implementing Agencies’ activities; and (iv) discuss and seek feedback from countries regarding potential areas to support/strengthen their implementation of Montreal Protocol activities at the nat
